TRB is hosting a webinar on Monday, April 1, 2019 that features research from the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP)’s Research Report 884: Guidelines for Managing Geotechnical Risks in Design–Build Projects. The webinar will discuss risk management tools for addressing geotechnical risks in design-build projects. Presenters will describe each tool, determine the phases in the project life cycle where each tool may be most appropriate, and identify how transportation agencies around the country successfully employed the tools. They will also discuss the differing site conditions case law findings that guided the identification of the tools.
