Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Webinars by FHWA

Traffic Incident Management (TIM) is the planned and coordinated multi-disciplinary processes used to detect, respond, and clear traffic incidents as quickly as possible while protecting the safety of on-scene responders and the traveling public. Safe, quick clearance is necessary to minimize the safety hazards at the incident scene. Effective TIM processes can improve responder and motorist safety while keeping traffic moving.

Please join Federal Highway Administrations Center for Local-Aid Support for a two part webinar series on how TIM can help make your community safer and more efficient.

Part I: Attendees will gain a foundational understanding of TIM Program actions and proven strategies.

Part II: Attendees will bridge TIM Program actions and strategies with training by learning about the National Responder Training Program taught throughout the country.
