Emergency Relief (ER) projects must reach Construction (E76 CON) approval within two Federal Fiscal Years (FFYs) from the disaster event date. To support local public agencies (LPAs) and Tribes in meeting this critical deadline, the Division of Local Assistance (DLA) is hosting an informative, FREE workshop.
This workshop provides a comprehensive overview of the E76 CON requirement for ER projects and includes an in-depth review of the ER Time Extension Request Form. Local agencies with active ER projects from disaster events that began on or before September 30, 2023 – including CA-2023 and earlier ER Disaster Events – are strongly encouraged to attend.
Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) California Division and Caltrans HQ Local Assistance ER program managers.
