Hosted by Humboldt Transit Authority (HTA) and proudly sponsored by Caltrans, this three-day event features informative discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities for industry professionals or anyone passionate about improving public transportation in their communities. Transit agencies, state regulatory agencies, transit consultants, transit bus manufacturers, and vendors will also be in attendance.
A highlight of this symposium will be HTA’s presentation of their brand-new hydrogen fuel cell bus and fueling facilities, and a walking tour of the Earth Center, a collaboration between the City of Eureka and HTA to build a transit hub, retail space and affordable housing. Symposium presentations range from lessons learned from converting the fleet to zero emissions, the latest in marketing and branding, cashless fare payments to transit funding updates.
