On June 30, 2025, the FTA 5310 Call for Projects application was released via the online grants management system (BlackCat). The application deadline is September 3, 2025. Roughly $54.7 million (Federal Fiscal Years 2024 & 2025) is available to support transportation for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Caltrans will be hosting a virtual application workshop at the end of July, details are coming soon. Caltrans administers 5310 funding in rural, small urban communities and in 13 of the large-urbanized areas of California.
