On June 6th, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) posted the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the FY 19 Advanced Transportation and Congestion Management Technologies Deployment (ATCMTD) program. The NOFO is published in Grants.gov (search using “693JJ319NF00003”) or accessed directly here. The application due date is July 19, 2019.
A webinar covering details of the program and the NOFO is scheduled for June 28th at 10:00am. The webinar will provide information and answer questions regarding the ATCMTD program established by Section 6004 of the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation (FAST) Act. The NOFO is the fourth annual solicitation for the ATCMTD program seeking applications from eligible entities to develop model deployment sites for large scale installation and operation of advanced transportation technologies to improve safety, efficiency, system performance, and infrastructure return on investment. FHWA intends for these model technology deployments to help demonstrate how emerging transportation technologies, data, and their applications can be effectively deployed and integrated with existing systems to provide access to essential services and other destinations.
