Local agency staff can learn the basic requirements of prevailing wage requirements and how to apply those requirements, including reviewing and confirming certified payroll records and on-site documentation. Using hands-on exercises and instructional aides, students taking this course will learn how to apply: Davis-Bacon and Related Acts; the Code of Federal Regulations; the California Labor Code; and California Code of Regulations to all public works contracts.
