The Caltrans Division of Local Assistance is kicking off a new round of Earmark Repurposing. In order to be eligible for the 2021 cycle for repurposing, an earmark must have been:
1) Designated anytime
2) Eligible for the Surface Transportation Block Grant Program
3) Within 25 miles of the original earmark location
4) And have been either:
a) Obligated for less than 10 percent of the total available apportioned amount, or
b) Final vouchered and closed if more than 10 percent earmark funds are obligated.
