The Caltrans Division of Local Assistance has begun a new round of Earmark Repurposing. To be eligible for the repurposing earmark funds, a project will need to be:
- Eligible for the Surface Transportation Block Grant Program, and
- Within 25 miles of the original earmark location
and, either
- Less than 10 percent of earmark funds obligated
or - Final vouchered and closed if more than 10 percent earmark funds are obligated
