Caltrans Office of Strategic Investment Planning (OSIP) Division of Transportation Planning leads Caltrans Letter of Support (LOS) requests from local and regional agencies for inclusion in their project application packages for competitive grant programs. OSIP is responsible for submitting LOS Request Packages to the Director for various state and federal grant programs.
Caltrans currently has two Call for Letters of Support open for the following Discretionary Grants:
Bridge Investment Program (BIP) Fiscal Year 2023
• Request for a Caltrans Letter of Support is closed.
Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) for 2024
• Request for a Caltrans Letter of Support updated due date is November 30, 2023
